Bluebells (Hyacinthoides Non-Scripta, An Cloigín Gorm) are a sweet scented, violet blue flower. They can be found in abundant growth in woodland areas. Their ability to reproduce using runners means that they can spread rapidly hence the carpet effect often associated with these flowers.
